The missing step to dominating your market
John Jantsch over at
Duct Tape Marketing posted a list of things that firms that dominant their market do that the rest of their market don’t do. The list is taken from Investment Advisor.
Compared to the market as a whole, firms that dominated their market:
- Are 60% more likely to have annual sales goals
- Are twice as likely to use business development specialists
- Are 30% more likely to proactively seek referrals
- Secure one-third more clients through strategic partners
- Are three times more likely to have formal agreements with referral partners
All good points BUT one important factor which is missing, and is the difference that makes the difference, is to
be customer led and sales driven.
