Birmingham Post

It was great to see full page coverage in yesterday’s Birmingham Post Entrepreneurs supplement. Entitled Secrets of serial success the intro read ‘Richrd Denny, chairman of The Richard Denny Group, is often dubbed the millionaire-maker as he has probably helped more people to make the proverbial million than any other current living person in the U.K.’

A couple of the tips to ponder for the aspiring successful serial entrepreneur -

Be prepared to work really hard. You should live and sleep your concept. The price to pay is maximum over the short term - if you want to benefit from the long-term rewards.

Take calculated risks. This really does distinguish the entrepreneur from the rest, as there is a price to pay with a risk. Most entrepreneurs will calculate that risk by looking at the worst-case scenario - and preparing for it. Having done that they no longer visualize or think about the worst but concentrate on what is necessary to achieve the desired result.
