Senior Tactical Reporting Analyst - £29k - £33k Basic + 10% Bonus – Oldbury - West Midlands

Senior Tactical Reporting Analyst required for one of the ‘big 6’ energy suppliers paying a basic to £33k.

Job Title – Senior Tactical Reporting Analyst
Salary - £29k - £33k Basic
Benefits – 10% Bonus & final salary pension scheme plus excellent benefits.
Location –Oldbury - West Midlands

As the Senior Tactical Reporting Analyst you will create and maintain a framework of Sales performance reports covering Financial, Operational and Commercial information for the production of monthly, weekly and ad-hoc reporting.

Principal Accountabilities:
•Actively engage and influence Pricing, Risk Reporting and Retail Hedging to understand, challenge and communicate all cost updates
•Review Sales incentives schemes and make recommendations for new initiatives
•Take the lead on analysing/challenging the ‘Cost to’ assumptions with Finance
•Produce strategic recommendations based on an analysis of competitor intelligence and suggest strategic manoeuvres to best position prices and products

Knowledge and Skills:
•Experience at Senior Analyst level with a track record of success. Industry knowledge preferred
•High degree of modelling skills in Microsoft required and ability to use large sets of data
•Ideally degree qualified or equivalent
•Full driving licence is essential
