- TELESALES MANAGER CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS - OXFORD
Due to their continued success, our client seeks a Sales Manager to join their growing company within a brand new and exciting post. Operating within the proliferous educational publishing market, our client specialises in the rapidly advancing sector of of digital resources.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will be accountable for the growing customer accounts team, with responsibility for ensuring that your team delivers sales targets through successful activity. This is a volume-based sales team, targeting both new prospects and an existing customer base. The team is currently performing well, but there are areas that require your development, including training, the refining and developing of sales processes and organisational structures, expansion of your team and, of course, increased revenue.
You will be required to motivate and inspire your team through your leadership and will enjoy "leading through example". In addition, you will formulate and implement the necessary actions required to ensure your sales targets are met, identifying potential issues and ensuring that these are dealt with effectively. You will ensure that your team are target-led, with a clear understanding of what needs to be achieved and how to achieve it, and you will utilise KPIs to assist you in this process. In addition, you will be responsible for developing your team further through regular reviews and meetings.
You
With considerable previous experience of driving a telesales based sales team to success, you will be an inspirational leader, who is able to motivate and enthuse a team to success. You will have a hands-on and proactive approach to your leadership and will enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-energy sales environment. You will have strong coaching and developing skills, with the ability to mentor individuals and focus your team on specific goals. You will be target-driven, will possess a strong understanding of the benefit of KPIs and will have excellent organisational abilities.

Basic to £35,000 per annum with the opportunity to earn £10K commission in first year plus package.
