Commercial Manager required for subsidiary of large energy supplier, which sells gas and electric central heating systems and ancillary services, paying a basic of £45,000 to £55,000 plus 15% bonus, £6000 car allowance, final salary pension scheme and excellent benefits.

Our client, one of the ‘big 6’ energy suppliers, seeks a candidate for a new role, responsible to the Head of Sales and Marketing for all commercial activities for the sector, which supplies and installs central heating systems and sells added value products of repair, service and warranty.

There is a Sales and Marketing management team plus a sales call centre and 60+ field sales force, targeted to achieve gross sales in the order of £30M pa. Your role will be to appraise the commercial viability of the sales strategy, ensuring profit margins and ROI are attained through the various sales channels, setting pricing strategy through market and competitor analysis.

You may have direct industry experience to include the regulatory environment but you will certainly come from a fast paced, profit driven plc or a smaller blue chip company and will be able to evidence a successful sales career at senior level.
