Really good business leaders change and adapt their style and approach depending upon the needs of individuals. It’s not just about how motivated people are, there are other factors to consider. So how many styles of leadership are there out there?
Different consultancies and training businesses have different views on the number of recognisable and independent leadership styles. To some there are a few. To others, there may be scores. But when it comes to practical implementation, most team leaders and managers perform better if the number of leadership styles they are expected to embrace is limited.
