Triton adds two speakers to 2008 conference line-up

Author Richard Denny and travel agent turned consultant Andrew Dickson are to join ex-Conservative MP Michael Portillo and Stella Travel Services boss Keith Stanley as speakers at the Triton Conference. Denny, whose books include Winning New Business: Essential Skills for Non-Sales People, will share tips with agents on how to get to the next level of business performance at the conference in Palma, Majorca from April 18-20.

Dickson, who runs the Wow Factor Consultancy, will base his talk on opportunities for agents under the title Independents Day. As revealed in Travel Weekly (February 15, 2008), Portillo and Stanley will also be speakers. It will be the first time Stanley has publically addressed the UK trade. He is also speaking at this year’s Institute of Travel and Tourism conference in June. As well as breakout sessions, a University Challenge session will be introduced which pits agents against each other, quizzing them on their industry knowledge.
